These beautiful Tibetan Tingshas are hand made in Nepal from brass and have a lovely sound. The top of the tingshas is embellished with two dragons. The Eastern dragon is not the gruesome monster of medieval times, it represents strength, goodness, transformation and protection. The Order of the Double Dragon was given to Foreign Ministers, Foreign Rulers and all high ranking Foreign Officials during the Manchu Dynasty. They have “Om mani padme hum” prayer (hail to the jewel in the lotus) on the underside. The strap is made of leather. Being hand made, every pair is different and have imperfections. They come with their own traditional Tibetan carry pouch (pouch colours vary as stock from Tibet is limited).
