I don't know about you .... but I'll be *BLEEPING* ECSTATIC to see the end of the Monkey Year.  It formed a penalty into peoples' lives causing lots of stress, health issues and financial hardship.  

And what about PRESIDENT TRUMP?  I even surprised myself when I predicted 'expect the unexpected' in my November facebook post.

Year of the Fire Rooster 2017

If you look at the table below, you'll see Yin Fire sitting above the Rooster (Yin Metal). In the five element theory, fire burns metal or attacks metal.  

The elements of the year indicate this will be another year of conflict and instability but much more under the surface, behind closed doors, behind people's backs, hidden agendas. However the elements in each month of the year are much more supportive suggesting for most people, this will be a much better year than last year.

Overall, the emphasis will be on fame, fortune, romance and business this year. The Fire element makes people feel happy, confident and optimistic which will be good for the share market and business during Wood and Fire months of February, March, May and June.  

By August that positive outlook will dive considerably along with consumer confidence thus affecting the share market and business. According to Master Raymond Lo 'The bearish market may commence from around August 2017 and this time the impact can be long lasting as there will not be any support to fire element between 2018 to 2022'.

Politically, it's a cock-a-doodle-do year, fits Trump perfectly. Cocky, argumentative, opinionated, showy. In Australia, we can already see our Prime Minister Turnbull getting unusually fiesty and confrontational in the political cock-fight of parliament.

Love and romance is definitely in the air due to the Romance Flower of the Rooster, but it's being attacked by Yin Fire, so the warning is CHOOSE CAREFULLY! Expect some high profile sex scandals this year.

The details: The Year of the Fire Rooster begins on February 4th, 2017. The Solar New Year is based on the Hsia calendar or Solar Calendar beginning February 4, and the Chinese New Year celebrations are based on the Lunar Calendar. The Chinese acknowledge the yin and yang energies of each year; the yang (solar, masculine) new year, and celebrate the yin (lunar, feminine) new year.  

Feng Shui Energies for 2017

The Annual Flying Stars are the feng shui energies that relate to the compass directions on the Earth Chart or World Chart for the 2017.

If you've had a specific feng shui analysis of your home or business by Sacred Feng Shui Design, the Annual Flying Stars are analysed in relation to the stars present in the Flying Star Chart of your home or business - do they feed, weaken or support good and bad stars? The interplay between the Building Chart and the Annual Time Stars is extremely accurate.  As such, if you've had a Feng Shui Consultation by Sacred Feng Shui Design, please do not follow the recommendations below. The information below is for people who haven't had the benefit of a specific feng shui analysis for their business or home, but would still like some guidance and help for the upcoming year.

When not analysed in conjunction with the Flying Star Chart of a building, the Annual Flying Stars for the compass directions are more general, but may have some impact on your life this year. 

The two numbers which are the most problematic are 5 and 2, and must be remedied!

Centre - 1 Wisdom - Good 

• If your townhouse, villa, apartment or shop is located in the centre of a block, your finances will be good in 2017. Hang metal bells to support this positive energy.
• If your bedroom is located in the centre of your home, your health and relationships will be good this year.  Place a metal statue in your bedroom to support this positive energy.

North West - 2 Sickness - Challenging

• If your main door faces North West, you may be worse off financially in 2017.  Hang metal bells on your main door or chime a singing bowl or bell 6-7 times once a week near your main door to weaken this challenging energy.  
• If your bedroom is in the North West section of your home, your relationships and particularly your health may be worse this year.  Chime a singing bowl or bell 6-7 times once a week in your bedroom to weaken this challenging energy. Every time you chime, say a positive affirmation such as 'I have perfect health and relationships'.

West - 3 Conflict - Challenging

• If the main door to your home or business is facing West, you may be financially worse off in 2017 with arguments, conflicts and legal issues causing problems. The Earth and Fire elements weaken this challenging energy.  Place crystals or red objects (pots, pictures) near your front door.
• If your bedroom is located in the West section of your home, your relationships will be less harmonious and your health may be more worse. Place rose quartz crystals or a red throw in your bedroom to weaken this challenging energy. 

North East - 4 Romance and Creativity - Neutral

• If the main door to your business is facing North East, you may find people have more interest in your products/services. If your home front door faces North East you may find you and other family members may have more romantic proposals. The 4 Water Star also supports academic success and creativity. Financially the 4 Water Star is considered neutral, but very fortunate if you are creative or own a brothel :}. To support the energies, keep the entrance tidy and visually beautiful.
• If your bedroom is located in the North East section of your home, your health and relationships may improve if you keep the bedroom tidy and attractive. However as romantic liaisons are stimulated, you could have problems with competition, particularly if the bedroom is a mess and looks terrible.

South - 5 Misfortune  - Very Challenging

• If the front door of your home or business is facing South, the Misfortune Star may negatively impact your finances due to accidents, sickness and less income. Hang 6 Chinese coins at the entrance to your home or office this year. Every time you look at the coins, say a positive affirmation such as 'I'm a magnet for money'.  I also recommend placing metal statues, pots or wall art near the front door. 
• If your bedroom is located in the South section of your home, your health and relationships may be very challenging this year.  Be careful of accidents and sickness - slow down, look after your health.  The sound of metal neutralises the Misfortune Star, so I recommend a Tibetan Tingsha, Tibetan Bell, Singing Bowl or Brass Bells, which must be chimed once a week.  Say an affirmation in the bedroom such as 'I have perfect health and relationships' every time you chime.

North - 6 Power - Neutral

• If the front door of your home or business is facing North, power, fame and authority are stimulated. To bring out the positive energies of this star - good relations with authority such as your boss, police, councils etc. you must keep this area tidy and visually beautiful. Remove all clutter! If this area is untidy and looks uninviting, you may stimulate problems with the boss and people in positions of power over you.
• If your bedroom is located in the North, please ensure your bedroom is neat and visually attractive to bring out the positive qualities of the 6.  

South West - 7 Gossip and Fire - Challenging

• If the front door of your home or business is facing South West, your finances may deteriorate this year with an increase in fire, accidents and theft. Place 3 or 4 lucky bamboo in a vase at the entrance to help diminish the negative energy. At least once a day, say a positive affirmation such as 'money comes easily and frequently' at the entrance. 
• If your bedroom is located in the South West section of your home, your health may be worse in 2017. Ensure you have a fire alarm in the bedroom, check all smoke alarm batteries and turn off all electrical items at night including electric blankets.  3 or 4 lucky bamboo stalks in your bedroom will help to diminish the negative energies located here. Remember to say a positive affirmation such as 'I have perfect health and relationships'.

East - 8 Fortune - Outstanding

• Congratulations! If the front door of your home or business is facing East, your finances and/or business will improve this year.  Place a large red picture or rug at the entrance to your home or business. Make sure this entrance is used all the time this year as activity helps stimulate the prosperous 8 Fortune Star. 
• If your bedroom is located in the East section of your home, your health and relationships will improve this year. Buy a lovely red rug, throw or picture and put it in your bedroom this year.

South East - 9 Success - Outstanding

• Great news! If the front door of your home or business is facing South East your finances and business will improve this year. Place a large red rug at the entrance to your home or business.  Make sure this entrance is used all the time this year as activity helps stimulate the fortunate 9 Water Star. 
• If your bedroom is located in the South East, your health and relationships will great this year. Buy a lovely red rug, throw or picture and place it in your bedroom this year.

Annual time stars are far more accurate when analysed in conjunction with the unique feng shui chart of your home or building, which is based on the year your home, shop or office was built and the exact facing direction. Therefore, a comprehensive feng shui consultation is recommended to predict and improve your unique situation.

The Grand Duke resides in the West this year, specifically between 262.5 - 277.5 degrees West. Try to avoid or minimize construction and digging here. If it is unavoidable, you may experience delays, equipment breakdowns and unforeseen obstacles.

Your Four Pillars of Destiny

Get rid of gifts you don't like which are hidden in drawers or cupboards somewhere. Sell them on Ebay or give them to your favourite charity.

*STUFF* energetically and emotionally drags you down and keeps you from moving forward. You'll be amazed how good you will feel when you remove dust collectors. 

Clutter in any area of your home, shop, or office will be blocking a part of your life. You'll feel like you are stuck or stagnating. So get moving and clear the clutter!
